Over 400 attended Islam and Christianity Event

On Friday April 8, 2016, over 400 people -- Christians and Muslims -- joined us on the Taylor Campus for a moderated discussion about Islam and Christianity. Local Imam Sherik Ayoup (MCE Mosque) and Dr. Andy Bannister of Toronto (Ravi Zacharias International Ministries) engaged in a dialogue moderated by Dr. Randal Rauser of Taylor Seminary, and then took questions from the audience.

Working Together to Build the Future

Representatives of Sioux Falls Seminary and Taylor Seminary have just returned from Cameroon where a growing partnership in theological education continues to take shape with the Cameroon Baptist Convention and its two seminaries. And in the heat and humidity of a classroom in Kumba, presidents Greg Henson and David Williams, respectively, led a one-week intensive course on Christian Ethics.

New Study Confirms Need for Taylor Initiative

A new study in the US confirms the urgency of the Healthy Pastors Initiative at Taylor's E P Wahl Centre. This study involved 734 respondents from four Protestant denominations: Assemblies of God, Church of the Nazarene, The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod, and Southern Baptist Convention.

The Bridge, Fall 2015

Taylor is pleased to announce that our magazine, The Bridge, has a new expanded format. Typically The Bridge has included 12-16 pages of content, but starting with the Fall 2015 issue it is now a 24 page publication. Also, the magazine is moving from being mainly about Taylor and Taylor alumni; while those topics will still be included, The Bridge will be filled with thoughtful reflection on topics of significance to believers and churches.
