Congratulations to Dr. Randal Rauser on the publication of his most recent book, "God or Godless". The book, co-written with John W. Loftus, began arriving in stores last month.
The two authors will be appearing at a series of public discussions in June, presented by the Wahl Centre. These debates, "God or Godless?", will take place in Calgary, Red Deer and Edmonton from June 3-5, 2013. There will be no charge to attend (details can be found here).
Dr. Rauser's co-author is well-known atheist (and former minister) John W. Loftus. The book is a lively and honest discussion about faith, but manages to avoid being just another bitter confrontation over such issues. This collaboration is a clear and insightful overview of the arguments for and against belief.
You can read more about the book at the Baker Publishing website, including some flattering reviews from experts in this field such as this one:
"The argument between skeptics and Christians has existed since the beginning of Christianity. Randal Rauser and John Loftus continue that argument with gusto, conciseness, and civility. This book should be the first stop for readers shopping for dueling voices from two of the most articulate advocates for Christianity and atheism."
