Dr. Mike Hagan, president of Sioux Falls Seminary (a fellow member of the NAB denomination with Taylor), has announced his resignation. As a function of his role at our sister seminary, Dr. Hagan is also a member of the Taylor Board of Trustees, and has contributed to Taylor's decision-making process through a season of significant change.
In a statement on the Sioux Falls Seminary website, Dr. Hagan's institution said that his resignation will be effective at the end of 2013, and that he intends to return to teaching and writing. He service at Sioux Falls began in 1984, when that institution was known as North American Baptist Seminary. Hired to teach in the areas of Old Testament and Hebrew, Dr. Hagan later became Vice-President for Academic Affairs, then became President in 2001.

Taylor College and Seminary thanks Dr. Hagan for his service to our institutions, and we wish him all the best in this new chapter in his life.
