Give to Taylor Online

Named in honour of a former Academic Dean, Bernard Schalm, the Library was built in the summer of 1980 and has been built into a significant student resource over the years.

The library’s present collection includes approximately 50,000 books, over 130 current periodical titles, and a number of electronic databases. This collection was moved to Vanguard College (12140 - 103rd Street, Edmonton) during the summer of 2011 as part of an agreement between the two institutions to share library resources). You can read more about the Taylor-Vanguard library agreement here.

The Taylor-Vanguard library also belongs to the NEOS library consortium, which consists of academic, government and hospital libraries within central Alberta. NEOS libraries share an on-line integrated catalogue that exceeds five million records. Taylor students have borrowing privileges at all NEOS libraries.
