Beulah Alliance Church invites applications for the position of Administrative Assistant at our West Campus location. This is a full time position rated at 30 hours per week.

This position is responsible for providing administrative and operational support to the Children's Ministry Team in order to support effective and efficient execution of ministry.

The Administrative Assistant is responsible to/for:

  • Provide administrative support for the ministry area
  • Manage administrative aspects of events, courses and activities
  • Update various databases
  • Use office systems (i.e. Shelby, EMS, Access databases, copiers, telephones)
  • Manage projects and resources as required
  • Interact with volunteers in a resource and facility capacity
  • Attend meetings as required
  • Work cooperatively with all other support staff to provide overall administrative support for the office as necessary
  • Other assignments as mutually agreed upon

The successful candidate will have/be:

  • A Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent computer skills including demonstrated proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Outlook) and above average familiarity with database programs
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement projects
  • Ability to work in a large, multi-staff setting
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Two to four years of administrative experience
  • Graduate from a post-secondary institution with a diploma or certificate in administration support or related area or equivalent work experience
  • A desire to support and assist
  • Primary spiritual gifts: administration and helps
