The individual efforts of our faculty in publishing and speaking are one of the primary avenues that Taylor is able to contribute to Christian spiritual growth and development locally and globally, as well as to continue being part of the broader Christian Conversation.

Review by Erich S. Gruen (UC, Berkeley) of Ralph Korner’s article in the 2015 volume of the Journal of the Jesus Movement in its Jewish Setting (JJMJS). Gruen’s review is entitled “Synagogues and Voluntary Associations as Institutional Models: A Response to Richard Ascough and Ralph Korner” JJMJS (Oct 2016): 125-31.
Essay published on part of Dr. Korner’s dissertation research:

Dr. Korner was invited to present part of his dissertation research at the Paul and Judaism group
during the annual Society of Biblical Literature Conference (San Diego, Nov. 22-25):
“Ekklēsia as a Jewish Synagogue Term: Some Implications for Paul’s Socio-Religious Location.”
Dr. Korner was appointed Forum Director for
the Editorial Committee of the Journal of the Jesus Movement in its Jewish Setting from the First to the Seventh Centuries (Eisenbrauns).
