Alumni Updates

The alumni online directory is starting to get rather large and tough to browse, so any new updates that come in between issues of the Online Bridge will be highlighted here (in addition to being posted in the directory). However, e-mail addresses will remain in the directory only so as to maintain the anti-spammer password protection. Please continue to send in your updates and e-mail us a picture to include as well (hopefully we’ll soon implement the ability to upload a picture along with the update form).

Send Taylor an update!

1940s

Arnold Rapske (’48)
We moved to Calgary in February this year and now live in a condominium. A medical incident was the cause of the rapid decision to move. We have met a number of friends here. We have two children in Calgary as well. Energy level has been drastically reduced and we are limited in activities. We are still in the process of choosing a church to attend.
I was in the employ of the college for 35 years. The first 17 years were devoted to teaching and the rest of the years involved library management. I am very thankful for the opportunity I had of being involved at the college and am satisfied that I did the best I could in my interaction with students and staff.

Since leaving NABC, I went on to complete a BA in Psychology and an MSc in Applied Psychology at the University of Calgary. I have been working in a private mental health clinic for about six years. Since completing my MSc, my work has focused on conducting learning assessments and providing counseling to children, teens, and adults. I completed licensing requirements to become a Chartered Psychologist in 2004. I am thrilled to be working for a Christian boss and about half of my clientele are Christians. This allows me to incorporate the faith dimension into counseling, which is what I felt God calling me to a decade ago. I am currently living with my sister in Glamorgan and am attending Pavilion of Hope (NAB) church.
