With the encouragement and participation of the Alberta Association of Parish Nurses, the Parish Nursing Institute was formed in 2017 as a response to a need among the profession for training and certification. The first institute was held in June of that year.

The 2019 Institute will feature a robust and enriching time of learning, community, and reflection. Click on the image above to register or learn more.

Dr. Joyce Bellous leads the team that develops and host the Parish Nursing Institute. She led a similar program at McMaster Divinity College in Hamilton, ON that graduated more than 200 nurses in a decade. Dr. Bellous’ experienced leadership attracts world-class facilitators for the Institute.
